Forest fire defense technician, trained at the Escola Superior Agrária de Coimbra, performed various activities in the area of defence, security and rescue as a soldier, firefighter, ambulance crew, sapper in heliported firefighting teams, search and rescue technician in collapsed structures and rescue and emergency operator at aerodromes.
As a member of several training projects, he was part of the development of the physical preparation and sports manual of the National School of Firefighters. Trainer since 2009 for various entities, he was responsible for the training department of the Volunteer Firefighters of Penela between 2014 and 2017, having carried out training programs for schools during this period.
