First edition of the Santander Scholarships for Erasmus launched by the Santander Foundation

• The objective is to support more students to be able to do Erasmus mobility in the 2023/2024 academic year
• The program was created in conjunction with the Erasmus+ Education and Training National Agency and involves 22 Higher Education Institutions

The Santander Foundation, through Santander Universities, in conjunction with the Erasmus+ Education and Training National Agency, has just launched the Santander Scholarships for Erasmus aimed at university students with academic success and in need of complementary financial support to study outside Portugal, thus seeking to encourage more young people to experience an international, multicultural experience in different geographies and languages.
The application period runs until March 14, 2023 and is aimed at students who intend to do Erasmus+ mobility in Higher Education in the academic year 2023/24.
For this purpose, the student must be a candidate for the Erasmus+ Program and attend undergraduate or master's studies, having obtained at least half of the credits or surpassed the first two years of their studies. The monetary value of the scholarship, of 500 euros, can be complementary to what students already receive in the context of the Erasmus program or be awarded separately.
The application process for interested students, the management of applications and the selection of participants will be carried out by each participating institution through the Santander Bolsas Santander Portugal platform.
