OPEN CLASS | TV COVERAGE OF THE UKRAINE WAR

15 Jun 2023 - 2:00 pm

Auditorium 1

When on February 24, 2022, the Russian Federation began its special military operation in Ukraine, media coverage was already on the ground and extended throughout 2022, also marking 1 year of intervention in 2023 Among the Portuguese journalists posted to the various regions of Ukraine, at different times of the conflict, we invited three who also represent three different Portuguese television stations. It is the look of António Mateus, Filipe Caetano and Francisco Penim that will be shared with the audience so that we can better understand the time tape of a conflict that still lasts with great unpredictability. The moderation will be done by Prof. Doctor Sónia Sénica (UAL), expert on Putin's Russian Federation and CNN commentator for international affairs. Admission will be free, although the organization of the event will be framed within the Eurasia curricular unit (3rd year of the Degree in International Relations).
