THE COMFORT OF THE FACILITIES AND SPORT SPACES

12 Apr 2023 - 3:00 pm

Room 33

This “Open Class” is inferred on the theme “The comfort of Sports Facilities and Spaces”, aims to clarify Sports Management students, as well as sports agents and others, who, in a direct or indirect way, have an interest in theme and who wish to deepen their knowledge about the comfort attached to sports buildings, in general.
Among the various starting assumptions for our class, an attempt was made to establish a common thread that would guide us and simplify the understanding of topics allied to sporting comfort, as well as its applicability, standards and technical characteristics. In this way, it will be possible to build installations and spaces
of sport with the least possible environmental impact and with greater social gains.
This principle and concern must be taken into account from the beginning to the end of a sports construction, its use, maintenance and even its recycling or demolition must be considered. The duty of the design team is, in fact, to rethink its options and decisions for a so-called more sustainable and environmentally friendly construction, predicting the direct or indirect impact that they will have in the most diverse areas, whether in the short, medium or long term.
The architectural projects for Sports Facilities and Spaces, which are more concerned with the environment, pollution and destruction, are considered sustainable and value-added projects.
