The deputy director of the Department of Economic and Business Sciences, Sandra Ribeiro, was present, on Friday and Saturday, October 11 and 12, at the National Congress of the Hotel, Restaurant and Similar Association of Portugal (AHRESP), in Aveiro.

“Management means having your heart on the right side” was the motto of the Congress, where Dr Carlos Moura, president of AHRESP, presented future challenges for the hotel and tourism sector in Portugal, and outlined measures to make the sector more competitive. The program also included a keynote speech by the governor of the Bank of Portugal, Mário Centeno, in which trends in the Portuguese economy were presented and analyzed.
