On the 14th and 15th of May 2024, representatives of the 12 partner universities of the DIVERSE Alliance (Digital and Innovative Venture Science Education for Resilient and Sustainable Entrepreneurship), an alliance of 12 European universities of eleven countries of which Autónoma is a part. From Autónoma, Professors Luis Tomé (Coordinator of Internationalization of the Autónoma Group and Director of the Department of International Relations), Elsa Gonçalves (Director of the Escola Superior de Enfermagem São Francisco das Misericórdias/ESESFM), Isabel Silva (Director of the Relations Office) were present. International), Mário Marques da Silva (Director of the Department of Engineering and Computer Sciences) and Sandra Ribeiro (Deputy Director of the Department of Economic and Business Sciences).
The main issues discussed at this meeting were the Alliance's governance structure; the schedule of the next face-to-face meetings and their respective organizing universities; the communication strategy; and ways to intensify and accelerate cooperation in the areas of mobility, research and joint courses and double degrees.
The next in-person meeting of the DIVERSE Alliance will take place at Autónoma, next October.
