Degree in Electrical Engineering and Master in Information and Security Technology and Management from Universidade Independente.

He is a part-time lecturer at the Department of Science and Technologies in the Degrees in Computer Engineering and in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.

He was a teacher in degrees at the Naval School, the Independent University and the Piaget Institute (Higher Institute for Intercultural and Transdisciplinary Studies).

He is a Cisco certified trainer for the CCNA and holds a Postgraduate Degree in Renewable Energies.

His research interests lie in the areas of information theory, telecommunications networks and international issues.

He made a professional career in the Navy and is currently preparing his PhD.
