Law No. 37/2019, of 30 May, approved the Disciplinary Statute of the Public Security Police and revoked Law No. of the Public Security Police (PSP) in active, pre-retirement status or on short or long-term unpaid leave, even if they are working in other bodies, regardless of the nature of the respective relationship. Today, this raises several questions to be considered and debated from a constitutional, administrative and functional point of view, which it proposes to raise. This debate is not, however, in the exclusive interest of the PSP, but may concern all security forces.
