On May 31st and June 1st, 2022, the Autonomous University of Lisbon will take place SIECO II – International Seminar on Transnational Organized Crime Studies, a scientific event held by Ratio Legis – Center for Research and Development in Legal Sciences of the Autonomous University of Lisbon in partnership with JusGov/JusCrim of the Law School of the University of Minho.
It has interventions by professors/researchers and law professionals from Portugal – University of Minho, University of Coimbra, Catholic University, Autonomous University of Lisbon –, from Spain – University of Salamanca, Pontifical University of Comillas, University of Seville –, from Brazil – University of São Paulo, Higher School of Police of the National Academy of the Federal Police, IDP-Brasilia, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul – and Italy – Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and Autonomous University of Lisbon.
It is an R&D project Corpus Delicti – Studies of Transnational Organized Crime of the UAL's Ratio Legis which, since 2018, has developed and published studies on the phenomenon of transnational organized crime and aims to constitute the basis of an international network of scientific studies on one of the phenomena that undermines and undermines the rule of law and the democracies.
