Today, at the Temple of Poetry in Oeiras, the Cybersecurity Competence Center of Lisbon and the Tagus Valley was publicly presented. (CCC Lisbon and the Tagus Valley)
The Municipality of Oeiras, together with the Autonomous University of Lisbon, the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal and the Portuguese Industrial Association, has formed a consortium, Ciber4all. This consortium is the Cybersecurity Competence Center for the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, as part of a project promoted by the National Cybersecurity Center and financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).
Ciber4All is part of the Cybersecurity Competence Centers Network (C-Network) and aims to support around 2,000 entities, being responsible for a minimum of 452 public and private entities in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region. With a total funding of €1,338,000, the consortium will contribute to strengthening the digital security and resilience of several organizations.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including the Mayor of Oeiras, Isaltino Morais, the Deputy Secretary of State to the Minister of the Presidency, Rui Armindo and the Director of the Department of Innovation and Communication of the CMO, Dr. José Barreira Martins.
