Within the scope of the History of International Relations I discipline of the Degree in International Relations, the Chair of Ibero-American Studies and Observare promote the conference with the title: Latin America: Introduction to the history of the perception of the “other”, which will be taught by Professor Martín Lienhard.
Martín Lienhard has a PhD from the University of Ginebra, and since 2011, professor emeritus at the University of Zurich. Works in the field of Latin American and African Studies. His research alternates and combines history, anthropology, literary and cinematographic studies. His best-known work, The voice and your hue: Scripture and ethnic-social conflict in Latin America 1492-1988, received the Casa de las Américas Prize in 1989. speakers
