PhD in Archaeology from the University of Évora, Master in Archaeology from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, and a degree in Electrical Engineering – Telecommunications and Electronics Branch, from the Instituto Superior Técnico. Member of the Association of Portuguese Archaeologists (since 1982) and of the Alto Tejo Studies Association, where he has been the director of the Proença-a-Nova Archaeological Site since 2012. Coordinator or reviewer of the Cultural Heritage factor since 1996, in more than a hundred environmental impact assessment processes and land use plans.
