Le Corbusier and Anthropophagy, by Daniela Ortiz dos Santos

Cycle of six international conferences 2019/2020 at Da/UAL on the thinking of contemporary architects: Marcel Breuer, Luis Barragán, Le Corbusier, Denise Scott Brown, Frank Gehry and Paulo Mendes da Rocha. On May 15, 2020, a conference was held by the architect Daniela Ortiz dos Santos, assistant professor at the Department of Art History at the Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main and scientific coordinator of the Center for Critical Studies in Architecture (CCSA), a center for research that brings together researchers from the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM), the Technical University of Darmstadt and the Goethe University of Frankfurt. Daniela is the author of the thesis Routes of Modernity or the Americas of Le Corbusier (ETH ZURICH, 2017) and co-curator of the exhibition “Construções em Movimento”, Garagem Sul, CCB, Lisbon (2019). She is co-editor of the book “Bauhaus Clouds”, which publishes the proceedings of conferences on Bauhaus at CCSA.

She is the co-editor of the proceedings of the CCSA Bauhaus Lecture Series, entitled “Bauhaus Clouds”.
