The bilingual edition of the volumes Laranjeiras: Palace and other Houses of the Quintela-Farrobo and Laranjeiras: Theater and Gardens, result from an initiative that consists of making known the history of the Casa Manorial dos Quintela-Farrobo, as well as the Theater and the Jardins das Laranjeiras, in a partnership between the General Secretariat of Education and Science (SGEC), the Grupo Autónoma and the Institute of Art History, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (IHA NOVA-FCSH IN2PAST).

The 2nd edition of the Exhibition Catalog will also be presented Il Fanatico per la Musica: The Count of Farrobo and the Teatro das Laranjeiras (Vol. III), whose initiative was awarded the APOM Prize (2023), and the editorial process of this edition was carried out by Autónoma Edições, from Grupo Autónoma.

The Open Access publication of these works will allow adequate dissemination of scientific knowledge at national and international level.

This important and innovative collection on the tangible and intangible heritage of the Quintela-Farrobo Family will be presented by Full Professor Doctor Miguel Figueira de Faria (DHAH_UAL, IHA NOVA-FCSH IN2PAST), by the General Secretary of Education and Science, Dr. Raúl Capaz Coelho and by Dr. Fernando Rodrigues Martins from Grupo Autónoma.

The presentation will also feature the coordinators of the works, Raquel Henriques da Silva, Luís Soares Carneiro, Margarida Elias and Raquel Medina Cabeças.
