The Escola Superior de Educação João de Deus will carry out its I International Congress of Educational Practices, under the theme:
An Education for Development
The 1st International Congress on Research in Educational Practices at Escola Superior de Educação João de Deus under the theme “An Education for Development”, in a hybrid format, aims to be a space for reflection and dissemination of research projects in their most several aspects.
Education for Development aims to raise awareness and understand the causes of development problems and inequalities at local and global level, in a context of interdependence and globalization, with the aim of promoting the right and duty of all people and peoples to participate and contribute to integral and sustainable development. It also intends to train conscious, critical and solidary citizens, capable of acting responsibly and transforming society.
