The exhibition, ILO-Portugal. Dynamics of a Relationship, was organized to celebrate the centenary of the International Labour Organization (2019) and chronicles the relationship between Portugal, as a founding member state, and the ILO. The eight panels that are part of the exhibition, as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of April 25, illustrate this relationship through normative activity (ratification of conventions); participation in international labor conferences; technical cooperation activities, studies and the impact on national legislation and policies. Three Panels are dedicated to the period of the Estado Novo (1934 to 1974) and three Panels are dedicated to the consolidation of labor democracy (1974 to 2019).
