Noble Hall at the João de Deus Museum
This Workshop helps you identify behaviors that promote mental well-being by fostering resilience and inclusion, develop self-care strategies for your balance, help your colleagues in difficult times, discover and mobilize resources available in the community. Several questions will be asked to students, starting with “What is it like to be in Higher Education?”, “Mental health: is it possible to find a prescription?”, “What to do when we are not well?”, “Peer support for specialized help” and “What are the resources”. They are clarified through various interactive activities, which allow sharing in a practical and generic way, without the need for personal exposure, such as Mentimeter, an application used to create presentations with real-time feedback (https://www.mentimeter.com/pt-BR).
Topics to cover:
- Behaviors that promote mental health;
- Emotional self-care strategies;
- Signs of mental suffering;
- Existing resources in the community in situations of suffering;
- Myths and prejudices about mental health.
Participate in creating a healthier Campus, where shared ideas and knowledge build a supportive educational community.
The workshop will be led by Tiago Casaleiro, Professor at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem SFM.
