Globally, there are three different approaches that can be used in Project Management, namely predictive (or traditional), agile and hybrid. But there is no single approach that can be considered the best for all projects, as each project is always different. New data science projects also have particularities that differentiate them from others, as in order to be executed there will have to be a careful analysis with collection, debugging, processing and analysis of data to be used to solve a problem. For this new type of projects, it has been suggested to adopt agile approaches instead of predictive ones. At this conference, we propose to address the alternative of using hybrid approaches for data science projects.
