CONFERENCE | THE “NEW” FRAMEWORK LAW FOR PROFESSIONAL PUBLIC ASSOCIATIONS: A CRITICAL ANALYSIS

Yesterday, May 10th, the Autonomous University of Lisbon received, within the scope of a conference organized by the Ratio Legis, the guests Vital Moreira (Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra); João Pacheco Amorim (Faculty of Law of Porto) and Jorge Bacelar Gouveia (Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and UAL).

The conference was moderated at different times by Professors Constança Urbano de Sousa (UAL) and Artur Flamínio da Silva (UAL). In addition to the equally eloquent participation of Professor Doctor Pedro Trovão do Rosário (UAL).

The main interest of this conference was to contribute to the academic debate on professional orders, focusing in particular on their relationship with the State, their public interest missions and the regulation of professions.
