The closing event of the AMBIÇÃO Project, a partnership between the Autonomous University of Lisbon and the João de Deus Higher Education School, took place today in the Main Hall of the João de Deus Museum in Lisbon. 🎓
This project, which aims to promote academic success and combat school dropout among students in the first years of courses at both institutions, focused on an innovative intervention, reformulating pedagogical methodologies, teaching practices and the use of educational technologies.
During the ceremony, the four fundamental pillars of the AMBIÇÃO Project were highlighted – monitoring academic success, pedagogical innovation, applied technologies and mentoring and tutoring network – which have been crucial to creating a more inclusive academic environment that supports student development.
The result of a joint application to the Program for Promoting Success and Reducing Dropout in Higher Education, within the scope of the PRR, this project represents an important step in the construction of a more inclusive higher education oriented towards the academic and personal success of students.
