The Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL) is launching a Chatbot developed by the Department of Engineering and Computer Science. The project, led by Professor Mário Marques da Silva, Professor Inês Almeida and with the support of the Communications Division, aims to improve first-level reception and improve relationships and interaction between students, the University and teachers, offering instant support for academic and administrative issues.

The Chatbot, which uses artificial intelligence technology, is designed to answer frequently asked questions and facilitate access to relevant information, thus contributing to a more efficient and accessible academic experience. The launch of the Chatbot marks a significant step in the modernization of Autónoma's services, aligning with current digital trends.

The initiative promises not only to optimize response time, but also to foster a more dynamic and interactive learning environment for all members of the community.

Aiming to improve efficiency and greater fluidity, this Chatbot marks the beginning of a new Era for the University, which will integrate Artificial Intelligence into its institutional, academic and human relations.
