The International Congress of 100 years of service to combatants took place and in which Professor Doctor Joao Hipólito was awarded the Medal of Merit from the League of Combatants, which is intended to reward natural persons, national or foreign, as well as members and founders of the League for distinguished services of high merit, provided for the benefit of the League of Combatants or at its service, which reveal exceptional qualities and virtues, through the constant affirmation of high character gifts, loyalty and selflessness, a spirit of sacrifice and professional competence.
The following doctors were awarded the Gold Degree:

– Dr. Joaquim Margalho Carrilho
