THE Meeting of Young Portuguese-Speaking African Writers it's the EscritAfricando Literary Award These are two prominent activities in the life of the EscritAfricando project. Both will have their fourth edition in 2024. As usual, young people who want to improve their writing skills and promote their work will be with “friends” who will give them clues for the future.

A living, strong, flourishing literature is a collective wealth.

EscritAfricando is a project by Ser Mais Valia that has the general objective help young Portuguese-speaking African writers to write better and publish their work.

Ser Mais Valia is an NGO that works mainly with Portuguese-speaking African countries, and therefore aims to cooperate for development.

As part of its many activities, SMV has identified young Portuguese-speaking African writers who need support to publicize their work, to publish what they write, to connect with other writers and artists and in some cases to perfect their writing.

EscritAfricando is a work of cooperation – cultural – with the countries of origin of the aforementioned young writers.
