The Lisbon Geographical Society will host the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Portuguese Association of Private and Cooperative Higher Education (APESP) on November 19, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. This event will bring together distinguished figures from the sector in a program that includes a conference with Professor SP Kothari, from the MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as a debate with prominent figures in higher education. The meeting will also mark the launch of the APESP Observatory, a tribute to the former presidents and associated institutions of the Association, with the presentation of a commemorative medal and the book alluding to APESP's 30th anniversary. The ceremony will be closed by His Excellency the Minister of Education, reinforcing the importance of this milestone for the future of higher education in Portugal.
