She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Management, both from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (Brazil) and a PhD in Information Sciences and Technologies, from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL).

In the academic field, in Portugal, it develops activities such as:

  • Lecturer at UAL (Department of Sciences and Technologies) and ISCTE (Department of Sciences and Information Technologies), being regent of a wide range of curricular units, namely, at UAL: Project Management, Decision Support Systems, Big Data , Software Engineering and Systems Analysis; at ISCTE: Collaborative Systems, Information Systems Management, Management Informatics, Technologies for Operational Information Systems and Transversal Competencies.
  • Scientific Coordinator of the Degree in Management Informatics, at UAL.
  • researcher of Information Sciences and Technologies and Architecture Research Center (ISTAR-IUL).

In Brazil, he developed activities such as:

  • Lecturer at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais having been regent of curricular units in the area of Management, Engineering and Information Systems.
  • Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Strategic People Management at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais.

In the professional field, he carried out consultancy activities in Information Systems in a leading consultancy worldwide, having participated in several international projects and was a Public Policy Analyst for the Brazilian government.

Current research interests: topics related to information systems in the organizational context.
