Pharmacist, with a Masters in Management and a PhD in Economics, she has a high capacity for leadership, communication, proactivity and emotional resilience, likes to work in a team and is results-oriented. It combines superior technical knowledge with demonstrated results in the pharmaceutical and higher education sectors.

She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economic and Business Sciences at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa since 2010, Scientific Coordinator of the Health Units Administration Course since 2012 and is a member of the CIP-Center for Research in Psychology at the same University.

Open to new challenges, it is ready to integrate and develop research projects that can contribute to the development of budgetary control and funding of the Ministry of Health and to the improvement of the management performance of health organizations. His main areas of research interest are health economics, health policies and SNS funding, epidemiology and hospital administration.
