  • 1- Who is the campaign aimed at?

    The campaign is aimed at students who apply for the first time to Autonomous in the academic year 2022/23 through the 12th access modality (1st year / 1st time).

  • 2- With what media do I have access to the campaign?

    With the final nomination average equal to or greater than 13 values, in absolute value and without rounding (for example: average 12.9 will not be covered in the campaign).

  • 3- How can I know my final application average?

    The application grade is equal to the final grade of secondary education with a weight of 65% plus the grade of the entrance exam with a weight of 35%.

    Calculation of the application grade

    NC=S x 65% + P x 35%

    NC = application note
    S=secondary school grade
    P=rating, on the entire scale from 0 to 200, of the national final exams of secondary education corresponding to the entrance exam required

  • 4- I attended the Knowledge Accumulation Program as an external student at Autónoma and I will enter the degree through the institutional competition via the 12th year, do I also have access to the ``WELCOME IN`` campaign?

    PAC students who are admitted to the 1st cycle of studies via the 12th year and meet the conditions to be covered by this campaign, will only be able to benefit from it if they cumulatively maintain their registration in the 1st year, 1st time and are not enrolled in a part time.

  • 5- Does the campaign stack with others in effect?

    Not.

    The campaign does not accumulate with any reductions related to protocols, social benefits or others, and reductions in Application, Enrollment and Enrollment are not covered.

  • 6- I attended the Knowledge Accumulation Program at the Autonomous University and I meet the conditions to enjoy the ``WELCOME IN`` campaign, will I also have to pay the Enrollment, Registration and Application?

    Not.

    The PAC student, as he has already made the application and registration in the 1st year that he joined, only has to pay the registration renewal.

  • 7- Where and how to activate the application of tuition fee reduction, derived from the ``WELCOME IN`` campaign?

    You must apply to the Student Office services.

  • 8- Will I have a reduction in tuition fees in the following years?

    The 40% reduction in tuition fees is valid only for the 1st year of the degree.

  • 9- When does the reduction in tuition fees stop?

    The reduction automatically ceases for non-compliance with the previous point or after 60 days of delay in the payment of tuition fees

  • 10- Until when can I apply for the campaign?

    You can apply until September 30, 2022.

Who can apply?

The student who cumulatively satisfies the following conditions can apply for this contest:

  1. Hold a secondary education course or legally equivalent qualification completed up to and including the academic year 2022-2023;
  2. Have an application grade equal to or greater than 95 points on a scale from 0 to 200.
  3. Have taken the entrance exams in 2020 and/or 2021 and/or 2022, required by UAL for that course and have obtained a rating of 95 points or more on the scale from 0 to 200 in these exams;
  4. Not be covered by the international student statute regulated by Decree-Law no.

Application submission location

The application process instruction is done by uploading the required documents. The delivery of the original documents is required at the time of registration.

Errors or omissions made in filling out the application form, or in instructing the application process, are the sole responsibility of the applicant.

 

Mandatory access documents

The application process must be accompanied by:

  1. ENES 2022 form: document proving ownership of the secondary education course and the respective classification and the classifications obtained in the national final exams of secondary education corresponding to the entrance tests required for the cycle of studies to which they apply;
  2. 1 Photograph;
  3. Photocopy of the identity document;
  4. Photocopy of the Tax Identification Card;

The application process must also be instructed, when applicable:

  1. Satisfying the provisions of subparagraphs a), b), c) or d) of paragraph 2 of article 3 of Decree-Law no. 62/2018, of 6 August, depending on the situation in question.

 

Substitution of Entrance Exams for Foreign Exams

One of the conditions for applying for enrollment and enrollment in higher education is the possession of entrance exams that allow assessing the ability to attend the desired course.

For students holding a Portuguese secondary education course, entrance tests are carried out through the completion of national secondary education final exams.

For students who hold non-Portuguese courses legally equivalent to Portuguese secondary education, the entrance exams may be replaced by final exams of subjects from those courses, in accordance with the provisions of article 20-A of Decree-Law no. A/98, of 25 September, in its wording updated by the Decree-Law No. 90/2008, of 30 May.

Candidates who, under the terms of article 20-A of Decree-Law no. equivalent to Portuguese secondary education must complete the electronic form available on the website of the DGES.

 

Calculation of the application grade

The application grade is a rating on a scale from 0 to 200, calculated by applying the following formula, the result of which is rounded to the nearest tenth:

(S × ps) + (P × pp)

S = secondary education classification;

ps = weight given to secondary education classification (65%);

P = classification, on the entire scale from 0 to 200, of the national final exams of secondary education corresponding to the required entrance exams;

pp = weight assigned to entrance exam scores (35%)

 

Enrollment and enrollment

The placement only takes effect in the academic year to which it refers, so the right to enroll and enroll in the establishment and study cycle in which the candidate was placed expires if it is not exercised within the established period.

 

Exclusion of candidates

Candidates who:

  1. They have not filled out their application form correctly, either because they omit some element, or because they indicate others that do not correspond to those contained in the documents delivered;
  2. Do not meet the conditions to submit to the competition;
  3. Have not completed the instruction of the respective processes within the due time;
  4. Make false statements.
