Professor Doctor José Amado da Silva
He has a degree in Chemical-Industrial Engineering from IST and a PhD in Economics from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
He was a professor at several higher education institutions and universities.
Consultant for companies, Ministerial Offices and Public Institutes in the areas of privatization, evaluation of community programs, business strategies, industrial policy and regulation. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of ICP-ANACOM.
He has several studies and publications in the area of regulation and competition.
He is currently Rector of the Autonomous University of Lisbon.
